About
First, thanks for stopping by MGoFootball. I started the site in the summer of 2009 when I had some nice “laid-off” time going for me. We’re about to dive into Rich Rodriguez’s third year at the helm. Brady Hoke is showing that he’s the right fit at Michigan. For a life-long Michigan fan, these last few years have been shall I say – the worst? Yes, the worst is about right. And I live in Cincy, where Ohio fans are many.
I do this as a hobby. It costs a little money to run the site and I sink some time into it. You’ll find my opinions, thoughts, and general reactions to various happenings around Michigan football. By no means do I get very analytic, but I do let Michigan football ruin my Saturday. I’d like to think I’m getting better about being in a mood when Michigan loses. Aren’t you supposed to live and learn? So I’ll pour it out of me onto this blog whether it’s good or bad for the Wolverines.
During the season, as you would expect, I generally post nearly every day. So yea, I sink some time into this thing. Feel free to show your support and appreciation.
This site has no affiliation with the University of Michigan.
Some background on me – I grew up as a kid going to games with my father, sitting two feet in front of the TV for every game, getting shoe boxes full of Detroit newspapers from my grandparents who’d save them for me, etc.
My earliest memories begin with watching and trying to imitate the great Desmond Howard in my backyard, going to the 1993 and 1995 Ohio State games in Ann Arbor, and counting down the hours to kickoff every Saturday. As I’ve grown older, my passion for Michigan has only grown and I couldn’t be more excited for the future of the program.
HAIL TO THE VICTORS!
