The top chart shows how many total yards Michigan’s defense has given up in each game, while also showing each of opponent’s total offensive yards gained in each game (other than against Michigan obviously).

Avg / Game…
This row shows the average yards that Michigan’s opponent has gained on offense, excluding their game against Michigan.

% UM D…
This number is the percentage of yards that Michigan’s defense gave up against what the opposing offense averages per game.

Bottom Chart

The bottom chart shows how many total yards Michigan’s offense has gained in each game, while also showing how many yards each opponent’s defense has given up in each game.

Avg / Game…
Again, shows the averages yards the defense has allowed, excluding their game against Michigan.

% UM O…
This n umber is the percentage of yards that Michigan’s offense gains up against what the opposing defense allows on average per game.

Yards Per Game Predictor

Based on Michigan’s yards gained and yards allowed on average, when compared to the averages of each opponent using games played to date, you get a number. How much credibility this number really has – we’ll just have to see as the season carries on. After first glance, it does give you a measuring stick of what to expect based on Michigan’s performances statistically in total yards.
